Housing Market Western Washington

Western Washington remains a seller’s market in July due to more people  moving to the Bellevue/Seattle northwest region and short supply of available homes. Jesse Tam, real estate homes reported on NWMLS tracks homes in 23 Washington counties says they are not seeing a slow down in home sales. King county sales residential  homes.

King  County sales:

  • 4,102 pending sales
  • 3,755 closed sales
  • Average price: $535,651
  • Median price: $439,000
  • *Months of inventory: 1.18

King County, residential home sales were up 8.78% with  median price of $485,000 an increase of 3.63% over last July.  Pending sales were up 10%.  The condo sales market even hotter with 40% increase in closed sales with a median price of $297,500.

Closed residential home sales in Seattle were up 7.73% with a median price of $575,000 while condo sales in the city increased 49% with a median of $385,000.
