Inaugurated Flight to Seattle International

Inaugurated Flight to Seattle by Jesse Tam.  New arrival at Seattle-Tacoma International airport for Xiamen first flight to the U.S. was welcomed with a traditional water cannon salute.  It is the airlines inaugurated first direct route between Seattle and Shenzhen to the United States.  Shenzhen is considered one of China’s largest and wealthiest cities as a financial, high-tech region and also known as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of China.

The new route will increase tourism and business between the two countries.  Seattle and Shenzhen will operate three times a week with a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner with four first class seats, 28 business class seats and 236 economy class seats, that will offer complimentary Wi-Fi for first and business class customers.

The airline’s North America flight took in between Vancouver, BC and Xiamen in July and plans are in place to provide service between JFK International Airport and Fuzhou to begin in February 2017.  Thanks for reading  Jesse
