Seattle Rain

Seattle Rain, Jesse Tam.  When it rains in Seattle the skies are overcast and gray with slow traffic and clogged freeways.  Wipers are swishing as the steady rain continues to fall. Winter hit early this year, temperatures dipping into the low teens and snow began late November.  The cold spell and freeze lingered for the complete month of December and warmer temperatures are bringing back the rain.  Seattle’s nickname ‘the rainy city’.

Seattle skies, rainy day

There is no need for umbrella with the locals in the city.  Waterproof jackets and hoods for those wet, rainy days are perfect to stroll down the street or in and out of buildings.  The sound of the rain, needs no translation.
